ABOUT US
In 2012, Counter Echo Solutions began design of an automated Directional SATNAV Jammer to defend U.S. and allied troops against attacks from GPS guided systems ranging from UASs (drones) to more conventional munitions, such as mortars, that had been modified with GPS guidance. The patented Counter Echo Solutions Directional SATNAV Jammer (CES-DSJ) can receive data from an incoming object detector(s) regarding an incoming object, which might be a satellite guided drone or satellite guided munition. The CES-DSJ can process the data received and control the emission of jamming signals capable of distrupting a SATNAV broadcast signal, which prevents reception of satellite guidance signals by the incoming object, thus turning it from guided to unguided. The CES-DSJ can operate in different modalities. The CES-DSJ can, for example, operate in a omnidirectional or directional mode. As another example, it can restrict broadcasts to times when enemy munitions or UASs are in flight. It can determine whether incoming objects pose a sufficient enough threat to warrant disruption of other allied SATNAV dependent systems. It can thus deny incoming objects that pose a substantial threat from receiving navigation signals, while simultaneously preventing large-scale disruption of essential friendly SATNAV operations. Appropriate personnel can specify the strength, timing, and other particulars of the jamming signal to ensure a timely response to these types of attacks.
Counter Echo Solutions is seeking business partners to develop this technology and bring it to deployment. If you or your company is interested, please contact us throught our CONTACT US page.
